Following a review of the team’s portfolio and ways of working, we have decided to develop a new strategy. The Strategy and Communications Manager will serve as project manager and analyst for this process. They will work directly with the Sr Director for Data, and serve as a thought partner for them.

Major Responsibilities:

Design a process for developing an IRC Data Strategy;
Project manage the process, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline and budget;
Schedule, facilitate and document key informant interviews and other project meetings with the team and with business stakeholders;
Synthesize themes and insights from stakeholders in to clear and compelling visuals and narratives;
Support the Sr Director with identifying, clarifying and analyzing strategic choices;
Draft the new strategy document;
Develop and manage the communications plan for the project.
Position Reports to: Senior Director, Data

Position supervises: None

Requirements:Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field (or equivalent additional work experience);
3 years work experience in a strategy consulting or strategic planning function;

Experience of knowledge management and internal communication;
Experience developing compelling visual representations of strategy concepts;
Proven writing and editing skills: the ability to draft formal documents and internal communications to senior stakeholders;
