JOB DETAILS:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager with expertise in coffee trading and production to oversee our client’s operations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the coffee industry, from cultivation to trading, and will demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities to drive our company's growth and success.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
Coffee Trading Management:
• Lead all aspects of coffee trading activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating contracts with suppliers and buyers.
• Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain dynamics to make informed trading decisions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with coffee producers, exporters, importers, and other stakeholders within the industry.
Coffee Production Expertise
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of coffee production processes to optimize quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
• Collaborate with coffee farmers and producers to implement best practices in cultivation, harvesting, processing, and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, certifications, and regulations related to coffee production.
Project Planning and Execution
• Plan, coordinate, and execute projects related to coffee trading, production, and supply chain management.
• Establish project goals, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements to achieve desired outcomes.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure successful project delivery.
Organizational Leadership
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to cross-functional teams involved in coffee trading, production, logistics, and quality assurance.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the organization.
• Develop and implement organizational structures, policies, and procedures to streamline operations and maximize efficiency.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, or related field from a recognizable University
• MBA is an added advantage
