
I am a female Ugandan with a degree in Community health and diploma in Clinical medicine, with vast experience of 13 years in health provision and case management of infectious and non infectious diseases including but not limited to Malaria. Since i qualified, I have worked in Malaria endemic regions of Uganda at hospital and community level, where I participated in quality improvement sessions and tasks in a bid to curb the rapid increase of Malaria cases reporting to the hospital then. I am a team builder and team player with supervisory skills.

Site Coordinator/ Clinical Officer
I am responsible for planning, organizing and implementing activities to ensure that the Centre project goals are met efficiently and effectively. This involves health service delivery to targeting focus key populations (Truck drivers, sex workers and surrounding communities), supervision of the staff, Peer Educators, Community Health Volunteers (CHVs), assigning tasks and developing the center standards. The activities that I am involved in include: examination, diagnosis, treating and counseling of truck drivers and sex workers for general illnesses like Malaria, organizing and conducting behavior change and communication (BCC) sessions for the target populations (truckers, adolescents and sex workers ), STI management, health education, TB screening and management, comprehensive HIV services, stakeholder engagement meetings to curb Gender Based Violence (GBV), planning and organizing outreaches to schools, hotspots and parking yards.

I acquired a Bachelors degree with Honors. It was a 3 years degree programme in the field of Community Health which entails dealing with health status of communities ( disease prevention, health promotion, early diagnosis and treatment through screening, Water Sanitation and Hygiene ( WASH) and advocacy for better health.
