• Participated in fundraising for new projects in the organization as a result the organization got funding for 3 projects like sustainable family farm development(SSFD) funded by BD, She Feeds the world funded by CARE, Mpanga Super Farmers funded by IDP
• Trained and Facilitated 50 Farmer Innovators to develop and implement their Integrated Farm Plan
• Trained 500 farmers on agro ecological principles and Integrated Farm Planning (IFP) which lead to sustainable crop production and food security.
• Identified and set-up 10 demonstration sites for climate smart agriculture technologies on beans and maize leading to farmers adopt new practices such as row planting.
• Took lead in participatory action research on soil fertility in maize and beans production in Kamwenge with 12 trail gardens in Kahunge and Busiriba subcounties
• Enhanced partnerships, collaborations with partners and like-minded organizations supporting the farmer production groups, as a result 10 marketing associations/cooperatives which enabled them to access markets for produce from big buyers like APONYE Grain Company
• Established comprehensive criterion for beneficiary identification, verification and provided guidance on formalization of 50 farmer production groups in three value chains of coffee, maize, and beans in kihuura and Katoke subcounties kyenjojo district.
• Led training of 50 farmer production groups on Agronomic practices, marketing, postharvest handling and agricultural value chain techniques and doing agriculture as a business with a long learning seasonal calendar.
• Conducted awareness creation on Agro ecology and sustainable food systems among 500 family farmers and communities to enhance sustainable productivity and climate change mitigation.
• Organized and facilitated farmers to into commercial long term enterprises like coffee production hence groups establish community based coffee nurseries in kihuura sub county kyenjojo district which benefited 800 farmers with potential production of 600,000kgs of dried coffee (kiboko).
• Excellently provided mentorships through managerial and entrepreneurial trainings and linked 1200 farmers to higher level farmer organizations and built their managerial skills for self-reliance which tremendously increased farm productivity for instance average household coffee production increased from 216kg in 2016 to approximately 419kg per farmer household by end of 2020.
• Organized and facilitated coffee farmers in Kihuura and Katoke sub counties to form cooperatives for value addition and marketing hurled coffee which attracted support from government through Agri-lead program to construct 2 coffee processing factories and venture into producing high quality coffee produce for the national and export markets.
• Strengthened 30 VSLA groups, linked them to financial institutions which boosted incomes and social enterprise development.
• Enhanced result-based monitoring and participatory monitoring approaches to establish project progress, and areas that require corrective actions.
• Excellently generated accurate reports, documented human-interest stories to capture project success.
• Implemented a robust communication and feedback mechanism for the project stakeholders and beneficiaries.
• Successfully organized the first Farmer group agri-business field days in Kihuura and Katoke districts which widened farmer exposure to potential markets.
• Influenced beneficiaries and communities through GALS methodology (vision road journey) on mindset change towards equitable household resource allocation and this enabled communities mobilize own resources for holistic development.
