I have implemented a number of rural livelihood improvement projects funded by various international donors, including GIZ, EU, CRS, BILL & MELINDA GATES Foundation, aBi Trust, GIZ, FAO, DANIDA and DOUWE EGBERTS.

Key Responsibilities:
a) Lead all key processes of the project planning, budgeting, management, Project implementation, monitoring, execution and reporting.
b) Liaise with the PMU in preparation of farmer mobilization guidelines and materials for consensual adoption.
c) Coordinate the establishment of community-driven farmer mobilization and vetting teams in collaboration with PMU.
d) Monitor the key project implementation processes to ensure effective implementation of the project.
e) Coordinate the development of participating farmer database.
f) Lead the development of training programs for both the farmers and staff in production methods, technologies, agronomy, financial literacy, farmer institutional development and marketing.
g) Prepare and present timely work plans and budgets in line with project objectives and deliverables.
h) Regularly review & track the project progress against milestones and take corrective action where required.
i) Provide timely and accurate reporting of all activities in the approved Annual Work Plan & Budget, on Quarterly, Semi-Annual and Annual basis.
j) Set up SOP documents and policies to guide and govern work activities.
k) Supervise, coach and provide mentorship to the project staff.
Assist in the recruitment of project staff (as and when required)
Manage the performance of the project staff.
Manage financial resources of selected tasks and components while coordinating with the Finance Manager regarding budget control and financial procedures.
Support collection and accurate reporting of impact data related to the project.
l) Prepare project progress reports (Monthly and Quarterly) based on a structured M&E framework including a review on financial report and provide necessary feedback.
Ensure quality monitoring data collection from the field and timely reporting.
Coordinate and liaise with other key stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation.
m) Act as the principal spokesperson for the Project, building and maintaining relationships and partnerships with relevant service providers, government, national and international development partners, local stakeholders and communities, private sector and funder Partners representatives for effective implementation of projects.
