I am passionate about my work, I have over 10 years driving experience with very demanding national projects in Uganda. This has imparted in me with skills, knowledge, and experience in providing support to project staffs and diversity of cultures across all regions of Uganda.
I have executed work in extremely tough environments. I held a position of a driver and as head of drivers at my current workplace. I have supervised and trained several drivers in handling vehicles in a professional manner. I have also trained drivers how to calculate fuel efficiency of vehicles to ensure that fuel consumption is within the standard average of 8 kilometers per Liter of diesel. Also I have done various administrative assignments, responsible for managing a pool of the PEPFAR Program vehicles, ensuring efficient use of resources and coordinating field travels to the project areas and prepared accountability documents, driven various high-profile dignitaries and handled a lot of emergency situations. I take constructive criticism positively in everything that I do to be successful.
Also I have basic mechanical skills and able to detect mechanical fault of the vehicle before a trip. I obtain a valid driving permit with classes DM, DL, CM and B.

Driver
Deliver and collect mail, documents and other items to Government offices/Embassies/commercial Offices.
Change oil, check tires, lights horn, clutch and brakes and wash car regularly.
Maintain and ensure availability of all required documents/supplies including vehicle insurance, vehicle logs, office directory, and map of the city/country, first aid kit, and necessary spare parts in the assigned vehicle.

Head Driver
Responsible for assisting in recruitment of quality drivers into the fleet.
Maintaining of detailed record of vehicle servicing and inspection and scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
Prepare and submit the monthly vehicle and fuel utilization report to supervisor.
Ensure that URC policies and procedures for safe vehicle operation and risk mitigation, such as proper use of door locks, parking in secure locations and timing of trips, are followed.
Always inspect vehicles and be vigilant for the detection of any faults and/or damage to the project vehicle, whether accidental or otherwise, and submit a written report of such faults and damage as soon as possible to the Supervisor.
