The manager will also ensure effective representation liaison between Save the Children and other INGOs, CSOs, Local Authorities and visiting donors and stakeholders at the local and regional level to promote extensive participation and complementarity of Save the Children programme and activities. The job holder takes overall responsibility for leadership and programme management, including planning, starting up implementation, capacity development, monitoring, evaluation, accountability, learning and reporting.

To be successful for this role, you will have/bring the following:

Essential:

A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education, Social Science or Development studies. Experience in livelihood and youth programming will be an added advantage. Postgraduate training/Advanced degree in the related field, will be an added advantage
A minimum of Eight years working experience in livelihood and youth empowerment related program or protection in Uganda (preferably with an International NGO).
Experience in managing a budget of at least US$ 700,000
