Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Machine Operator to work in Uganda.

Job Summary

The Operator’s primary responsibility is to run the machine to ensure that manufacturing procedures are carried out.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Set up machines/ take over at the beginning of the shift to ensure proper working order
Monitor machine operation during production.
Check oil and lubrication levels, report leakages
Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift
Calibrate machines at the beginning of each shift
Ensure that regular and preventive maintenance procedures are carried out
Troubleshoot problems during machine operation
Ensure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on output.
Ensure stocks of needed materials are ready and available at all times
Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum running
Create and maintain activity logs
Report mechanical faults to supervisors immediately
Ensure good quality of products produced
Achieve given targets
Qualifications and Requirements required:

Minimum of a certificated in Engineering with or any relevant field.
At least 6 months to 2 years of experience.
Confidence, Integrity, Trustworthy, Respectful, Team Player and Innovator.
