Governance Specialist, Kampala, Uganda

UNDP support in Uganda is aligned to the key development frameworks such as the Vision 2040, the third National Development Plan (2020/21 - 2024/25) as well as the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation framework (2021-2025).
The Governance Specialist will support and contribute to:
Programme and Project management;
Programme and Projects design;
Nurturing of strategic partnerships and resource mobilisation;
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Law. Master's degree in Law, Governance areas of Public Administration, Social Sciences or related field will be added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the area of Governance;
Programme and Project development and management, with focus on planning, monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder liaison;
Work experience with an international or local development organization;
Legal, research, analysis, policy formulation and advocacy;
