Job Description: Finance Intern
Under the supervision of the Finance Lead, you are expected to work with other team members to effectively and efficiently discharge your duties (as outlined below) and positively contribute towards the realization of the organization's overall objectives. You are expected to be highly organized, results-oriented, quick in execution, and a stickler for time and details in order to deliver satisfactorily.

Your mission is to ensure continuous improvement of the accounting and finance processes. You will be expected to communicate well with all relevant internal and external stakeholders while upholding the highest level of integrity to ensure that you contribute to the organization meeting its set objectives.
Responsibilities
Assist with month-end financial reports
Prepare journal entries
Help with accounts receivable, payable, and bank statement reconciliation
Assist with audits
Support with Balance sheet reconciliation
Work with the finance team on yearly forecasting efforts and budget processing
Manage the monthly tracking of our physical assets and other company resources
Support the payment processing team
Data entry/ Work with bookkeeping software
Contract setup and closeout
Liaise with partners/service providers like tax consultants and lawyers to ensure seamless service
Financial planning
Analyze the client's behavior through fact finding and discuss long-term goals to determine your client's needs
Provide support with credit analysis of financial information and credit reports.
Review revenue reports and perform/ support with compliance checks
Perform administrative support roles to HR & Finance
Handle sensitive information with honesty and integrity.
Provide general accounting support
Reporting to Finance Lead
Key Relationships
Internal stakeholders: all BM staff, HR Lead.
External stakeholders: customers, suppliers, bankers, payment merchants, and External Auditors.

Education
Undergraduate degree/diploma in finance/ accounting/ economics / or any business-related course
