Description

Prepare graphic and visual content for the development of videos and motion graphic products.
Format and design the layout of reports, based on the available content, data and reporting information, and input from stakeholders/clients.
Propose and implement creative and engaging solutions for data visualizations, infographics, maps and other visuals.
Ensure that all publications and other communications materials are produced in line with the UNDP brand guidelines.
Develop engaging animated and static digital advertisements, email visuals, social media assets, including ads, posts, shareable graphics, rapid response creative content, carousels, flyers, logos, and various design elements.

Age: 18 - 26

Nationality

Candidate must be a national or legal resident of the country of assignment.

Requirements

Required experience

1 years of experience in graphic design, photography, videography, storytelling and digital communications. Experience working in the UN or other international development organization is an asset.

Excellent oral and written skills; excellent drafting, formulation, reporting skills.
Accuracy and professionalism in document production and editing. eHBmIHS B2LtMv
Excellent interpersonal skills; culturally and socially sensitive; ability to work inclusively and collaboratively with a range of partners, including grassroots community members, religious and youth organizations, and authorities at different levels; familiarity with tools and approaches of communications for development.

Ability to work and adapt professionally and effectively in a challenging environment; ability to work effectively in a multicultural team of international and national personnel.
Solid overall computer literacy, including proficiency in various MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) and email/internet; familiarity with database management; and office technology equipment.
Self-motivated, ability to work with minimum supervision; ability to work with tight deadlines.
Sound security awareness.
Have affinity with or interest in digital storytelling, communication for development, volunteerism as a mechanism for durable development, and the UN System.
