Development worker as consultant (m / f / d) of district administrations in northern Uganda
As a federal company, GIZ supports the Federal Government in achieving its goals in international cooperation for sustainable development.
Field of activity
As part of the project "Supporting Refugees and Host Communities in Northern Uganda", GIZ is working on behalf of the BMZ to help the Ugandan government to create a conducive framework for inclusive socio-economic development. The aim is to increase the administrative capacity of three selected districts (Adjumani, Arua, Moyo) and to strengthen the economic development of the local population and refugees.
Advising the districts on the implementation of the national strategy for local economic development;
Support in the development, implementation and monitoring of local development plans;
Strengthening district administrations by providing advice on procedures and work processes;
Support in the implementation of the overall project;
Promoting cross-district exchange and cooperation;
Cooperation with other German and international development cooperation programs working in the same field of work.
Fluent knowledge of English spoken and written, knowledge of German advantageous.
Work experience in Africa is an advantage;
