In coordination with the MoH UNEPI and other key stakeholders, provide technical assistance to national level COVID-19 vaccines and related supplies logistics and supply chain planning, implementation and management
In coordination with the SSCS regional coordinators, technical officers and regional implementing partners, provide technical assistance towards stock status monitoring and tracking of COVID-19 vaccines at district and facility level to ensure complete visibility, traceability, and accountability of distributed vaccines
Manage routine COVID-19 vaccines and commodities supply chain data analytics to facilitate decision making by various vaccine national level committees including the logistics cluster.
Participate in developing COVID-19 vaccine distribution plans for the various vaccine types.
A master’s degree in public health or related field
A degree in Health Sciences including Pharmacy, Supply Chain or related field.
Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in the health sector supply chain management systems.
Familiarity with Uganda’s vaccine supply chain system and pharmaceutical/logistics management in emergency settings
Knowledge and skills:
Capacity building/training knowledge and skills.
Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills, team player, and good appreciation and dealing with team diversity.
Demonstrated excellent English language skills (both written and oral) with the ability to make presentations and effectively write reports.
Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills.
